JOB TITLE: Commercial Solicitor

THE ROLE:
This leading firm has developed excellence in all areas of commercial law within the private, public and third sectors. They pride themselves on being outcome focused and getting under the skin of their clients from a broad range of sectors including local authority, leisure, education, healthcare and education. The firm’s commercial team is highly ranked and undertakes a wide range of work. From day 1, their lawyers are exposed to high quality work and client interface. Learning and development also plays a key part. Due to a number of instructions, the team is looking to hire an ambitious Commercial Solicitor. You will be advising on a wide range of commercial contracts including matters related to commercial trading agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing agreements, franchising, IP, manufacturing and data protection. You will be involved in drafting and negotiating contracts of various sizes and values and will be encouraged to act as an extension of the firm’s clients' in-house legal teams.

The successful Commercial Solicitor will have developed a good grounding in commercial law in their early career or be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in this practice. You will be comfortable drafting and negotiating contracts and keen to develop further your skills; carrying out legal research and due diligence; guiding clients through commercial challenges; developing client relationships.
