Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have an opportunity for an experienced property/regeneration Solicitor/Barrister who can play a key role providing an efficient and effective legal service in the area of regeneration and property.

Dudley MBC is a Community Council rich in history and is very focused on regeneration and reinvesting in itself to meet the challenges of the future, forming part of the West Midlands Combined Authority. 

The successful candidate will, amongst other things, deal with regeneration and property matters and projects, manage caseloads, prepare property contracts and transfers and provide legal advice to the Council’s officers and Elected Members.

They must be able to work independently as well as part of a much wider team, working cross-directorate and with external bodies. Good communication skills and the ability to manage a large caseload are equally important.

The successful applicant will be able to work within the Council's Flexible Working Policy, subject to the business needs of the Council being fulfilled. The Flexible Working Policy allows home working and a degree of flexibility on working hours. There is also a generous leave allowance.
