Dispute Resolution Lawyer

Your new company
An established and iconic Public Sector organisation, committed to providing essential services to customers across the UK. They provide personal finance services like banking, insurance, payments and travel money as well telecoms and mail. They currently have a need for several experienced Dispute Resolution Lawyers for a period of 12 month.

Your new role

• You will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on Historical Matters.
• Identifying legal risks, and solutions for managing and mitigating those risks
• Reporting (verbally and written) as necessary to the General Counsel and other senior stakeholders
• Instructing and monitoring external advisers, working collaboratively on large matters
• Working collaboratively across the business with Communications, Compliance, Security, Project
• Managers, Company Secretariat and Finance

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive PQE experience as a dispute resolution lawyer is required
• Able to gain the confidence of and influence senior management
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams
• Flexible and adaptable approach with a willingness to provide support where needed
• Demonstrable confidence, initiative and ability to work collaboratively
