Experienced Conveyancing Paralegal required for a growing law firm based in Chester


Your new company
This is a growing law firm based in the centre of Chester, who pride themselves on offering a bespoke and tailored legal service to clients, whilst also having an inclusive, fun working culture. The practice has taken on some new clients, and are looking to expand their conveyancing department with an experienced paralegal to assist with the growing workload. The law firm are multi-practice, covering all elements of corporate, commercial, and employment, whilst also covering a range of personal legal services too.

Your new role
As a conveyancing paralegal, you will assist partners and fee earners within the department on carrying out their respective duties and responsibilities. This will include, but not be limited to:

  • Setting up new conveyancing matters and instructions
  • Setting up and creating new quotes for clients
  • Filing documents and general post-completion administration
  • Handling your own caseload of conveyancing matters
  • Assisting clients with any queries or questions they may have, escalating to other team members when need be.
  • Ordering mortgage advance and redemption statements
  • Conducting identification checks and managing compliance.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this position, you must have gained over 12 months of previous experience working in a conveyancing role. It is also essential that you have completed the LLB degree, and having the LPC will be beneficial. If you have gained lasting experience in property or real estate law you may also be considered.

If successful in your application, the firm will offer you a competitive salary, negotiable depending on your previous experience. The firm offer a hybrid working policy, and are open to discussing whether more or less days in the office will be required for you. If you have the right experience and attitude, the firm could offer a training contract after some time.
