LAW Absolute are working with a local authority based in the Northern Home Counties who are seeking an interim Governance Lawyer. The position has initially been released for a period of 6-9 months.
The successful Information Governance Lawyer will be required to have experience in the following areas:
- Data Protection (ideally within a local authority setting)
- Freedom of Information
- Experience dealing with ICO audit goals
- Management and project leadership experience
- Stakeholder management experience
This role has been identified as requiring a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check or Basic Disclosure.
Ideally candidates will possess previous local government experience. Candidates must be available on short notice. Remote working is available.
