FTC Claims Handler (EL/PL/PI/Property Damage) - Leeds/Remote

My client is a charitable organisation with responsibility for 2,000 miles of navigable canals and rivers, together with bridges, tunnels, aqueducts, docks and reservoirs in England and Wales. The role that my client is looking to fill will involve the successful candidate handling a large number of Employers Liability, Public Liability, Personal Injury and Property Damage claims.

The role will require careful attention to detail and will involve being involved at all stages of the claims process. Collaboration and coordination with internal colleagues and external providers will be crucial, as well being able to liaise with external loss adjustors, insurance specialists and legal advisors. You will also be involved in managing and implementing internal trackers for live claims.

In order to undertake this role, candidates will be required to have the following:

• A wide range of claims handling experience and previous experience of handling a large varied caseload
• A good knowledge of the courts system and rules surrounding litigation.
• Good communication skills.
• An ability to work independently.

Salary will be bespoke depending on the successful candidate's level of experience. This role is initially for a 12 month fixed-term which may be extended depending on the success of the candidate and the wider business circumstances. Remote working will also be possible for this role.
