Currently hiring for a full-time, permanent Senior Legal Counsel position for an international Tech business who are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to take the lead at their Central London office. You would be joining an international legal team, reporting to the General Counsel and liaising with various departments in the London office and in the U.S. (Finance, Customer Support, Marketing, and IT).
Based in modern offices in Central London with plans to expand to a bigger office later in the year, the successful candidate will be taking on legal responsibility for the rapidly expanding London office. With projections for the business to double in size over the next 3 years and plans to open another office in a central European city later in the year, this is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to be an integral part of a project with tremendous potential.

Job responsibilities below:

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts for European markets, including, customer and vendor contracts
• Responsible for keeping services compliant with applicable laws, handling various customer requests and training our employees globally
• Provide the organisation with proactive legal advice
• Identifying business risks and devising practical, business-oriented solutions to mitigate such risks
• Be an active stakeholder in cross departmental compliance projects and coordinating with key stakeholders from across the organisation (Finance, Customer Support, Marketing, and IT).
• Support the local implementation of company-wide legal initiatives and standards

The business is looking for a 3-8 9PQE Legal Counsel with experience in IT/Tech/Software/AI and previous experience of negotiating SaaS contracts, combined with a strong commercial understanding.
