Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Well-established corporate and commercial Yorkshire law firm requires an additional Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join the growing team. The Dispute Resolution department is recognised by both Legal 500 and Chambers as a leading Dispute Resolution team in the Yorkshire region.

Based in Leeds, you will be tasked with managing a full and varied caseload to cover the full remit of Commercial Litigation matters, including business-to-business disputes, contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, injunctions and shareholder disputes. You will assist more senior members of the team, as well as running your own files with appropriate supervision.

You will also be involved in business development/marketing activities within the Commercial Property Team and across the wider firm.

You will need:

• Ideally around 1-3 years PQE in commercial litigation matters from a reputable law firm,
• Experience of handling business-to-business disputes, contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, injunctions and shareholder disputes.
• Experience of corporate and commercial legal work in the Yorkshire region preferred.
• To be able to work independently as well as being a team player,
• To be motivated, flexible and enthusiastic and will need to be well organised and able to meet deadlines
• Excellent client care skills.
