We are delighted to be working on behalf of our client, a long-standing high-street law firm based in the coastal town of North Shields, close to Newcastle upon Tyne. Having witnessed a very successful strong 12months, they are ready to appoint a steadfast and ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor into their expert Commercial Property team. We would welcome applications from North East based Solicitors including adept NQ level candidates who have completed a commercial property seat with demonstrable experience running a caseload, up to 2 years PQE.

The Role

- This really is an outstanding opportunity if you are a Commercial Property Solicitor at the start of your career looking for genuine career progression.

- You will confidently and autonomously run your own caseload which offers a good variety of commercial property transactions from both a Buyer and Seller perspective including sales, purchases, refinancing of property portfolios, assignment of a lease or the granting of a new lease

- You will largely be dealing with the clients yourself such as banks and lenders so you will be establishing your own connections and resolving queries whilst dealing with the Land Registry to register properties where necessary

- For more context you will seamlessly draft and negotiate the terms of commercial leases, act for banks and lenders

The Ideal Candidate

- To be successful commercial property role, you must provide an outstanding client service in line with the core values of this firm, and you will be a driven individual wanting to progress your career to Associateship and beyond

- You will have completed a quality training contract with a commercial property seat and be ready to kickstart your career. Alternatively you will be qualified with upwards of 12 months experience in another commercial property department and relish the opportunity to work with a Head of Department who is wanting you to develop quickly within the team.
