Job Details
Samuels Solicitors LLP are a long-established Devon law firm with offices in both Barnstaple and Kingsbridge. Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Private Client department we are now seeking to appoint a Solicitor to work alongside our existing Private Client team. This post will be based at our Kingsbridge office, near the South Devon coast. We can offer you the chance to develop your career working independently to build your own caseload, whilst working within a friendly and supportive team.
You will have at least 4 years PQE within the private client sector, and preferably have the STEP diploma. As you will be handling your own caseload you will be confident in working with minimal supervision and be able to demonstrate the ability to provide sound advice across a variety of matters such as drafting wills, trust and estate administration, inheritance tax planning, powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications. You will need to be a team player with excellent inter-personal skills and be able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients.
In return, we offer flexible working arrangements, including the opportunity to work from home and/or part-time working, together with a competitive salary for the right candidate.
If you think you possess these skills and are interested in joining a progressive and innovative legal firm, we would like to hear from you.
Please apply by covering letter and CV by email to exc@samuels-solicitors.co.uk
