Required Experience for this Role:
Our client is quite flexible in terms of desired background and any of the following will be considered within an NQ to 5 year PQE bracket:
-Defendant Medical Negligence background with experience of dealing with NHS panel work or
-Defendant Insurance background with exposure to catastrophic personal injury and multi track litigation matters or
-Claimant clinical negligence background
-You will form part of a team of twenty fee earners and work on a varied caseload which will include NHS Panel work and medical malpractice matters. This role can be tailored around you and can be a mix of both matters or focus on one or the other dependant on where your interests lie.
-On the NHS work your caseload would range between 25-30 files and more on the medical malpractice side.
-Uniquely you will be exposed to regional and national work as a result of our clients top insurer clients and their insured clients and so cases can range geographically from Scotland to Brighton and therefore the variety of work on offer is truly unrivalled. You will be exposed to group action work, Trusts work and private clients such as care homes work.
