Law Costs Drafter A Bristol law firm has an opportunity for an experienced Law Costs Drafter dealing with all aspects of costs litigation. The firm has a national coverage but, this role offers remote working 4 days per week, the successful candidate will be required to attend their Bristol office 1 day per week. The Law Cost Drafter will manage a caseload of files, ensuring they meet SLAs, striving for efficiencies, and dealing with novel or technical issues as and when necessary together with advising on those issues where required. The work involves dealing with all areas of costs litigation, including dealing with higher value claims/complex claims or cases with technical disputes. Requirements The successful candidate will be an experienced, competent Costs Drafter to take on a technical role in the Costs team dealing with a variety of cost issues and will need to have strong costs technical skills; be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; be able to prioritise and be organised; be able to provide excellent customer service to case handlers; and work with minimal supervision. A good working knowledge of the CPR and be able to advise clients on technical costs issues at all levels will be required as well as support to colleagues In particular, the successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the costs budget rules and have at least two years' experience preparing and negotiating costs budgets in personal injury, civil or clinical negligence claims. Salary to £30,000
