Douglas Scott is currently looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor, for a highly-regarded Legal 500 firm based in Chelmsford, Essex. This firm award winning firm has the reputation for their excellent levels of client care in delivering high quality legal services to their varied client base.

On offer is the opportunity to work at this welcoming firm within Commercial Property department. Our client is a Top 100 firm with long-standing roots in the Essex area. They are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic personality to join their department. Additionally, this role offers some flexible working and excellent opportunities for career progression!

This role will involve managing your own caseload of all aspects of commercial property including a full spectrum of good quality complex commercial real estate work. You will preferably come from a small to mid-size firm, and be able to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team and keen to develop new clients / business development.

Professional must-haves:

• Qualified for upwards of 3 years within commercial property
• Experienced in preparing leases, sub leases, lease extensions and renewals, surrenders, licences, notices and other landlord and tenant documentation and generally advising on landlord and tenant issues including 1954 Act notices.

Personable preferences:

• A good technical background & commercial awareness
• Energetic and natural enthusiasm to bring to the team
