Corporate Lawyer, 12 month FTC. Remote

A top tier corporate team is looking for a mid to senior level corporate Associate to join them for a contract of 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave. The firm is very open to considering candidates on a remote basis (with only the requirement to spend a day or two in the London office once every three months - full expenses would be paid).

The corporate team is ranked as a leading team within both the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories. Their practice is international in scope and the successful individual will work alongside leading Partners in the industry in advising on general corporate and private M&A transactions as well as strategic advisory matters.

The successful Associate will need to be adaptable and enjoy the variety involved in being a key trusted business advisor to clients (which range from institutional investors, entrepreneurs and start-ups, large private and publicly listed companies and financial advisers). A strong corporate background and demonstrable experience in advising on a wide range of corporate transactional and strategic advisory matters is essential. The work within the corporate team comprises of public and private M&A, VC, ECM, reorganisations, joint ventures and general corporate advisory. Key sectors include tech, FinTech, financial services, real estate and media.

Candidates are likely to be England & Wales qualified with a strong corporate background gained within City, International or Top Tier regional teams. Due to the level of work, candidates are likely to have upwards of 3 years' PQE. Applications from more experienced corporate lawyers are also welcome.

The firm will also consider applications from candidates who are looking to work remotely within England, Wales and Scotland. Here they would encourage candidates to attend one or two days a week in their London office once a quarter. Expenses for this would be covered.
