We are working with a global 100 law firm in their search for a new talented Commercial lawyer. The firm prides itself on its deep understanding of the sectors, no matter which corner of the globe they are operating in.

We are currently looking for an England and Wales qualified Commercial lawyer to be based in Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, or Leeds.

The firm is offering a competitive salary and remuneration package of up to £80,000 plus the benefits listed below.

The Role

  • You will be expected to advise on strategic projects, commercial contract drafting and negotiations, assisting with precedent and legal process development and on day-to-day commercial contract matters.

  • You will be working with an impressive portfolio of clients including PLCs, multi-nationals and entrepreneurial companies, Central Government, Universities, and education providers, cutting edge technology companies and sporting entities.

  • You will be expected to take an active role in business development across the firm and you will have opportunities to develop your professional network.

You Will:

  • Have excellent academics, achieving a minimum 2:1 at Undergraduate level.

  • Have gained experience in a reputable firm and been involved in drafting, negotiating, and advising clients on commercial contract matters including the supply of goods and services, distribution, agency, outsourcing and technology.

  • Have a good understanding of data protection and intellectual property law (not essential).

  • Demonstrate a client orientated approach, excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with those in your team.

  • Be ambitious and ready to take on early responsibility to build and develop strong client relationships.
