Commercial & Procurement Lawyer

Our client is an international blue chip company with an exciting opportunity in the UK. They are currently looking to hire a lead lawyer to advise on all procurement and commercial contracts across the company. They are looking for someone with at least 5 years PQE in leading law firms and in house. Experience within the gaming sector, or another regulated environment would be useful, but is not essential. You will need strong procurement and commercial contracts experience and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing clear strategic legal advice to the procurement team and other teams
Negotiating and drafting commercial contracts including goods and services, IT and IP
Providing legal advice, assistance and support to the relevant business areas and other members of the legal team
Monitoring advice given by external solicitors
Advising on any procurement or contractual disputes
Managing junior lawyers
Updating template contracts and associated documents to meet business needs
Reviewing information on proposed legal developments and their potential impact
