Commodities Lawyer

This highly rated international law firm's Singapore office are looking to hire a junior to mid-level associate for their thriving commodities practice, and open to those based in Singapore or looking to relocate.

You will likely be England & Wales or Singapore admitted and have developed strong, generalist experience in the commodities sector from a recognised firm in the shipping and commodities space. Your focus may have been in arbitration/litigation or in trade/commodity financing, but a broad understanding of the sector and its challenges, as well as a willingness to do a range of interesting international work is a must.

The kind of personality that this opportunity will suit will be someone with initiative, people skills, and the willingness to learn new skills. Asian language proficiency such as Mandarin or Indonesian would be helpful, though not required.

Above all, this will be a great opportunity to progress and develop a practice in the dynamic Asian market.
