Job Details
This is a rare opportunity to join a Top 50 award-winning international firm as a Pro Bono Manager, managing the firms pro bono work both domestically and internationally with the responsibility of directing and expanding the firm's pro bono offering.
You would have the chance to get involved in so many exciting pro bono projects and be the driver behind these projects. The role would involve maintaining strong relationships with key community partners, planning the strategic direction of the pro bono team, chairing international pro bono committee meetings, managing new requires for pro bono assistance, managing internal and external communications, supervising and managing pro bono staff, and developing new innovative ideas/projects as well as managing and maintaining existing projects.
The ideal candidate needs to be a qualified solicitor with expertise in areas of public interest, social welfare or human rights. You should have experience working on and being involved in pro bono projects and the pro bono sector as a whole. Collaboration is key, and experience in collaborating and working with a whole range of different people from diverse backgrounds would be incredibly beneficial. Demonstrable project management experience will also be beneficial.
