Public Children Law Solicitor (3+ PQE)

A progressive Cheshire law firm are looking for a Public Children Law Solicitor to join them.  

In this role, you will work as part of a close-knit and experienced team and handle a range of public children matters involving local authorities. 

The firm are open to the right candidate working part-time and offer a great deal of home working, so this is a fantastic opportunity if you’re a family lawyer returning to work or looking to improve your work-life balance. 

Public Children Law Solicitor – South Cheshire 

Company & role 

• A down-to-earth multi-service practice with multiple offices across Cheshire 
• In this role, you will run an interesting caseload of public family law matters, dealing with pre-proceedings and care court proceedings, primarily representing parents 
• The family team are accredited by The Law Society and are on the Children Law and Family Law panels 
• The firm are incredibly family-friendly and provide a supportive and flexible working environment  
• Commutable from Crewe, Nantwich, Chester, Whitchurch and Stoke-on Trent

The ideal candidate 

• An ambitious Public Children Law Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 3 years’ PQE 
• Will be on the Law Society’s Accredited Children Law Panel or interested in becoming accredited 
• Will have excellent communication and advocacy skills and be used to conducting your own hearings 
• Will enjoy working as part of a team
