Your new firm
Our client is a leading provider of legal services to the health, social care, housing and emergency services sectors, as well as in the field of professional discipline. They are seeking a Legal Admin Assistant to join their Regulatory team based in Winchester.

Your new role
You will be providing legal support to the Regulatory team that act for professional bodies that are being investigated in relation to fitness to practice, misconduct and competency.
Daily responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Arranging conference calls, meetings, travel and booking conference rooms;
  • Coordinating photocopying, printing, organising couriers, sending out of letters, faxes etc with Floor support;
  • Working closely with our internal Clerk/ Practice Manager in relation to the allocation of matters to an advocate for a hearing;
  • Opening and closing of files, including conflict checking, setting up contacts, electronic filing, record keeping and archiving of files;
  • Completing redactions and extractions
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external clients as well as liaising with registrants and witnesses;
  • Collating bundles with the required correspondence, statements/ exhibits and other documentation;
  • Taking internal and external telephone queries, responding as appropriate and/or ensuring that all messages are passed on in a timely manner
  • Data entry and managing spreadsheets;
  • Drafting general and basic correspondence as required.


What you'll need to succeed

  • You will be interested in the legal sector and in regulatory law.
  • Have some relevant administrative experience within a legal environment or relating to Court.
  • Great communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
