Family Solicitor

Well-established large law firm based in York are seeking an additional Family Solicitor due to expansion.  They are a busy and growing Legal 500 ranked family team whose work is all privately funded. They are looking for a team player who is looking to further develop their expertise in an established and well-respected Family team.

Working directly with two successful partners, you will have exposure to wide variety of matters including pre-nuptial agreements, divorce, family and private children work. If you want to specialise, this is fine too – they will work to your preference and strengths. Their client base is varied which offers a great exposure to a wide range of issues on a day to day basis.

You will need:

• At least 12 month experience of handling own caseload of the full range of private family matters - divorce, finances, cohabitation and children matters. They are flexible in respect of PQE level, but 1PQE minimum preferred.
• Experience of advising high net worth clients preferred, such as, pension sharing, division of business assets would be advantageous.
• High standards of client care and organisational skills. 
• Good teamworking skills.
• To have a proven track record of meeting financial targets.
