Personal Injury / Asbestos Solicitor - Birmingham

This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join this national firm and work in their Birmingham office.

You will be a specialist in handling claims for asbestos-related diseases such as mesothelioma, pleural thickening and lung cancer.

Day to day responsibilities will include the following:

• Running a high value multi-track caseload
• Dealing with all aspects of running a case from initial interview to trial, including cases issued in the High Court.
• You will have a thorough working knowledge and understanding of the issues involved in dealing with multi-track cases, such as costs and the litigation process
• Obtaining relevant documents, preparing witness statements, preparing and attending conferences and Court hearings (CCMCs/Trials)

A key element of the role involves mentoring and supervising other team members. In addition to supporting the team, you will also have excellent networking skills, enabling you to nurture and develop relationships with asbestos groups, nurses, trade unions and clients.
