Job Details

My client is established firmly on both a national and international scale as of the leading engineering professional services organisations with over 500 offices across 40 countries.

As a result of continued growth and demand for expertise, my client has an opening for a construction lawyer with experience in either a private practice or in-house setting. More specifically, this role will involve providing my client's rail business discipline with support from the tender stage through to delivery. With a number of prominent projects taking place in both the public and private sector, this is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer looking for an opportunity to enhance their career and be exposed to high-quality work.

A good and detailed knowledge of contract and construction law will be required for this role as well as the ability to liaise with various different stakeholders at all levels across the business. As well as providing focused and commercial advice on contracts, tender documents, consultancy agreements and other business essential documents, you will be a key figure in the strategic and business critical decision that my client makes within its rail business discipline.

Lawyers with 2 years plus post-qualified experience with previous experience working in the construction and engineering would be of particular interest to my client. . Along with previous experience, good academics are essential for my client along with an ability to prioritise numerous business demands and the capability to work without supervision towards tight deadlines.

This is an interesting role where you can expect to enjoy top-quality work. Salary will be bespoke depending on a candidate's previous experience. There is also a favourable benefits package for the successful candidate.
