Senior Legal Counsel

Our client are an innovative and forward thinking organisation involved in scientific research, and they have multiple opportunities for commercial lawyers with ideally tech transfer experience to join their team in Cambridge where you will have the opportunity to be involved in some ground breaking projects. 

Successful candidates will have 8 years PQE and will provide legal advice in areas including IP and corporate structure, drafting and negotiating on a wide range of agreements, including research and licensing agreements.

You will provide legal support as needed to other functional teams within the organisation (e.g. Finance, IT, Procurement, Facilities Management) and help develop and contribute to projects within the Legal & Governance team keeping abreast of legal developments and sharing relevant insights with colleagues in the Legal team.

You should have a desire to learn, be curious and contribute.

You must be able to work independently, have strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills, and have the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
