Immigration Solicitor

A successful private practice firm with offices in Leeds and Harrogate, as a result of expansion are looking for an Immigration Solicitor to join their department. Uniquely this role has great remote working and therefore although you would be allocated to the Leeds office, those from further afield, who enjoy home working, who could just occasionally go the Leeds office would absolutely be encouraged to apply.

In this Immigration Solicitor vacancy, you will have roughly a 50/50 split between business and personal immigration matters. The Role

-The existing department is very busy and looking to expand the team with a new Immigration Solicitor.

-The team currently manage all private immigration matters however they have just recently applied for a Legal Aid contract and are awaiting the outcome of this. Therefore, if you have experience of running private and legal aid immigration matters this is ideal however you must be happy to run a purely private immigration caseload for the foreseeable.

-With this role there is great flexibility to work from home and IT equipment and systems are exceptional and allow for this with ease.

-On a day-to-day basis you will be exposed to a variety of immigration matters including sponsor licence applications, EUSS work, partner applications and possibly legal aid matters in the future.

Experience

-Open to Immigration Solicitors from NQ upwards. The more immigration experience you have the more the role will be adapted to your experience.

-Naturally given the area of law you will have a desire to help others and be supportive and approachable to clients. Excellent client care skills are essential and go without saying.
