This is a brilliant opportunity for you to begin your career as a qualified commercial solicitor at a top 100, national firm.  This is a firm that will offer you more than just your first role as a solicitor but also a place that will continue to further your development throughout your career, a collaborative environment that will give you the confidence to work on matters independently, as well as supporting more senior members with complex matters, and flexible working that will still allow you to have a good work/life balance.  Ideally they are looking for a newly qualified solicitor to join their team in Birmingham, but will consider those with up to 2 years of post qualified experience.

You will be joining a team that is rapidly growing and will have the chance to be part of their ambitious plans for further growth.  You can expect to be involved with advising on a wide range of high profile and high value commercial/ICT projects, outsourcing arrangements and general commercial contracts to a wide range of public and private sector clients.  As well as advising a variety of private sector clients, you will also focus on commercial contracts for Central Government bodies, NHS bodies, local authorities and central government agencies.

To be successful in the role you should have sat at least one seat in commercial during your training contract, or, have been working in this area post qualification.  You should have experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and contract management support.  Exposure to public sector clients as well as private sector would also be advantageous.  This is a great opportunity for a solicitor who can show real enthusiasm and ambition to join a team that is expanding quickly and wants to gain exposure to a wide variety of work.
