At the Crown Prosecution Service, we are responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales the nature and diversity of cases we advise on and prosecute means our work is often emotionally challenging and complex. As a Crown Prosecutor at the CPS you will be responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. We are looking for lawyers who want to make a real difference and provide justice for victims and witnesses. From fraud and firearms to public order and corporate manslaughter – the CPS works on all kinds of cases.

Your role as a Prosecutor means you will be making the fair – sometimes unpopular – decisions that better society and make a difference in people’s lives. Your role is at the centre of delivering justice and your work will include tasks such as advising investigations, preparing for prosecutions and presenting a wide range of cases at magistrates’ court.
