Employment Solicitor / Head of Department

Our client is an outstanding, boutique commercial law firm in Liverpool City Centre.

They have a rare opportunity to head up their employment team.

The role

They are searching for an employment solicitor to take the lead and become the head of employment in the firm. It is a role in which you will be heavily involved in the strategic development of the department, building lasting relationships with the firm's highly impressive client base.

The role will involve a mix of tribunal and corporate support plus reviewing and amending employment contracts and consultancy contracts, reviewing HR policies and staff handbooks, advising on HR matters including performance management, absence management, disciplinary processes, grievance processes and procedures, equality act matters, and anti-compete issues.

The Ideal Candidate

This opportunity will suit an employment solicitor with a minimum of six years of experience as an Employment Solicitor with a desire to be a head of employment.

You should be comfortable with developing a department, managing your own caseload and generating work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated solicitor to run their own department at a bona fide commercial law firm.
