I have a great opportunity for you to join a firm during a huge growth period of which they are looking for you to involve yourself in.  This is a firm that care about ensuring your own development will continue throughout your career, offering great opportunities for progression along with a direct plan for hitting those future career milestones, and you will be offered flexible working that will ensure you maintain a good work/life balance.  The Partner is looking to bring on a Senior Associate who can work directly with them on high profile and complex matters, including a major, long term outsourcing project.

With the expectation that you will be able to support the supervision of more junior fee earners, you should ideally have 5+ years of post qualified experience and be confident in handling the majority of commercial matters that could be sent your way.  Since the firm are further developing their offering to private companies as well those in the public sector, this will be a great opportunity for you to build your own network due to the extensive client contact you will be given from the offset.  You can expect to be involved and managing matters such as the drafting and negotiating of contracts, including those that are IT related; commercial transactional projects; and contract management support.  Any experience in non-contentious IP would be advantageous but not essential.

We are looking for someone who has been working at a reputable firm and can demonstrate a real interest in IT or technology law.  You should have a keenness to develop further in this area and an ability to work in a team as you will be coordinating with fee earners across other practice areas.  We are also open to hearing from those who have been working an in-house role at a tech company, or, in the public sector.  As you will be expected to take an active role in business development, prior experience in rolling out marketing initiatives would be ideal.
