We are working with a successful legal tech platform who are seeking senior corporate and/or commercial solicitors to join their team working remotely for a range of SME clients.
The platform is changing the way that SMEs get the legal advice that they need, making it easier, more efficient and affordable. They have been highly successful in connecting senior solicitors to thousands of businesses needing legal support and advice through their bespoke AI platform and marketing strategies across a range of industry sectors including financial services, insurance and banking.
Traditionally the company has used a portfolio of highly-skilled independently contracted consultants to provide legal services to clients through the platform, however due to particularly high demand across corporate and commercial law they are now seeking to recruit a team of in-house solicitors who will work permanently for the platform, ideally on a full-time basis. The work is likely to include a range of M&A transactions, shareholders/investor agreements, joint venture agreements, commercial contracts, intellectual property, technology and data protection.
To be considered for this role, you will have 5+ years' post-qualification experience gained either in private practice or inhouse, or a combination. You will ideally have a broad range of corporate commercial legal work experience however candidates with focused experience in either area will also be considered.
