Commercial Litigation Associate (NQ - 5 yrs' PQE)

Our client is a highly successful and niche commercial law firm.  It is instructed by a large number of corporates, SME businesses, finance and professional services clients.  Owing to its excellent reputation and established clients and contacts, it attracts excellent instructions from the North West region and also further afield. 

No day is ever the same. There is a real diversity in the commercial disputes they handle – from representing owner manages (some of whom are newcomers to litigation proceedings), to acting for established and sizeable corporate clients on complex disputes. The team prides itself on providing a pragmatic, astute and solutions-based approach to resolving disputes.   Where necessary, hard-fought litigation is undertaken in a tenacious way. On other occasions, to protect future client relationships, the team assists the client to find a constructive way of resolving a dispute. 

Due to growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution specialist.  The nature of the role requires previous experience in this area and likely to appeal at the NQ and up to 5yrs' PQE level.    You will have responsibility for managing your own cases and providing support to more experienced colleagues within the team. 

Instructions will cover all aspects of commercial litigation including: 

•    Breach of Contract and 
•    Commercial trading disputes 
•    Partnership and Shareholder issues
•    Breach of Director Duties
•    Recovery & Insolvency proceedings
