The role

The firm is seeking to recruit a Planning Solicitor to join their growing team based in Newcastle.

You will be at the forefront of a highly ranked team who have many Lawyers listed as leaders in their field in the Legal 500, working with the other partners to drive the department forwards.

This firm deal with a fantastic quality of Planning work, from energy projects including off shore wind farms, major residential schemes, waste and mineral projects, new rail and road projects and aviation developments.

Your experience in planning should be solid. The role will involve handling large scale development consent orders, compulsory acquisitions, reviewing environmental statements.

This opportunity presents a chance to handle a wide range of the highest level of planning work outside of London.

Requirements

• You will be a Planning Solicitor 2+ years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to experience)
• You will have technical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills are essential
