I have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the IP/IT and Commercial Partnership at a firm that has strong sector focuses inclusive of life sciences and technology. This will be a really interesting move for an entrepreneurial Partner who is looking for something a little bit different in the market. You will be working with spin-outs and start-ups on their new ventures as well as established clients, and, as this firm facilitates regular sector specialist team meetings nationally, you will always have the support and collaboration of other teams to ensure that you can service the client on all matters throughout their development.
The team work across all areas of Commercial, IP and IT ensuring compliance with consumer protection, data protection, e-commerce, advertising and competition laws. As the team also have their own registered trademark attorneys, you will be able to support clients through all aspects of IP and will be involved in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
We are looking for someone who has developed their network and expertise in the digital sector, as the firm you would be joining, are expanding their client base in the AI space. They are currently working with some really interesting spin-outs that are combining AI with a variety of other specialist sectors and are keen to have a Partner based in Birmingham who has a strong background in technology. You will be trusted to develop and execute your own growth plans that look to further enhance the presence this Top 50 firm has in Birmingham.
