Funds - 4-6PQE - Offshore Firm - Hong Kong

The established and successful Hong Kong office of this renowned offshore law firm is seeking to bolster its funds team with the addition of a senior associate.

The firm is interested in speaking with lawyers that have at least four years of experience in funds work (either onshore or offshore) and who are able to communicate effectively with Chinese speaking clients. The ability to speak Mandarin is essential and candidates will ideally be qualified in England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand, or Hong Kong. The incoming lawyer will be engaged on a wide range of work surrounding the formation, structuring and maintenance of various types of funds (including hedge funds and private equity funds).

Candidates should be ambitious as this is very much an opportunity for future advancement (with hard work and determination, the incoming lawyer should become counsel and then junior partner within a good timeframe). Some previous involvement in business development would be an advantage, as would the experience of supervising junior members of your current team.
