We are looking to attract an experienced solicitor to join our Clyde & Co casualty team in our Birmingham office at this exciting time as BLM merges with Clyde & Co!

The role will be focused around handling fast track and multi-track claims arising from EL/PL claims. It will involve duties such as obtaining witness statements, drafting pleadings, attending court, instructing experts and resolving issues, as well as providing an exceptional level of service to our insurer clients and a number of large corporate clients which will involve a significant amount of direct client contact.

A similar background in a defendant law firm would be ideal, with a high standard of verbal and numerical reasoning and the ability to analyse, evaluate and communication information logically is key – together with proficient IT skills. Previous experience within personal injury claims would be ideal however we are keen to also consider candidates that have a good background in assisting on cases and who are keen to build up to handling their own caseload.
