Mold, Flintshire with agile working
This is an exciting opportunity for two qualified solicitors, barristers, or members of CILEx, to join our busy and friendly team of legal professionals within the Governance portfolio.
The Solicitor will be primarily responsible for providing Housing Advice, including handling litigation relating to Anti-Social Behaviour of tenants, or those visiting their households, possession proceedings, housing injunctions and disrepair. You will also advise on and deal with regulatory matters on behalf of the Council.
The Solicitor (Safeguarding) will be responsible for providing advice and assistance in relation to the safeguarding of children. You will also work together with other members of the team in respect of adult safeguarding cases where needed.
We are looking for positive and highly motivated lawyers who are confident, versatile and innovative, and who will be part of a professional legal team delivering legal advice and support to all aspects of the Council’s services.
We would welcome applications from qualified solicitors, barristers or fellows of the institute of legal executives. Knowledge of local government law/legislative framework is desirable.
