Clinical Negligence / Serious Injury Solicitor – London

TSR Legal are proud to be working on behalf of a well-respected firm who are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor 1-2 PQE to join their team in London. The firm are looking to grow and expand their existing team with a dynamic solicitor who will be encouraged to engage in marketing and business development.

The position would suit a newly qualified lawyer or 1-2 years PQE. You will be assisting the Principal Lawyers with their catastrophic cases and some of the team’s most vulnerable clients. You will assist with all aspects of the case from initial interview of client to trial, with an understanding of the issues involved in dealing with multi-track cases, such as costs and the litigation process. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a very rewarding role

You will need to demonstrate experience in Clinical Negligence and Serious or Catastrophic Injury cases, also having experience running Personal Injury cases. The role requires excellent communication and client care skills, demonstrating an ability to empathise with vulnerable clients is essential. A day in the life of an Assistant Lawyer is never the same, however a typical day may include carrying out relevant investigations, obtaining relevant documents, preparing witness statements; preparing for Conferences and Court hearings (CCMCs/Trials).

• Empathy with the Labour and trade union movement is desirable
