JOB ROLE: Corporate Tax Solicitor - 9 Months’ FTC

THE ROLE:
This leading law firm with national recognition is looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Solicitor to join its Tax team and to provide assistance for around 9-months. The firm are renowned for putting individuals at the heart of its business strategy and the successful Corporate Tax Solicitor will join a team of dedicated solicitors advising clients across the private, public and third sectors. You will be advising clients on a wide range of matters to include, real estate tax issues, corporate tax, employee share schemes, employment tax, legal drafting and technical advice. The successful Corporate Tax Solicitor will have experience of drafting and negotiating tax covenants and warranties on share sales and purchases, and dealing with stamp duty on share purchases. The firm are keen to hear from candidates with the ability to take on responsibility at an early stage combined with being outgoing and confident. The role can be completed from either there Birmingham, Nottingham, or Manchester office.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Senior Solicitor who specialises in Tax transactions you will have upwards of 5 years’ PQE. The successful candidate will have good knowledge and experience of advising on SDLT on freehold and lease hold transactions and on VAT in relation to property transactions. You will be flexible, focused and comfortable with working closely with other teams across the different offices.
