Job Details
A specialist Law Firm based in Leeds is looking for Litigation Solicitor to join an ever growing practice. This award winning firm is well on its way to becoming an industry leader, offering exceptional litigation and debt recovery services. If you're interested in working in a niche area of the law, then look no further.
The Role
Within the Litigation Department, you will be working with other Solicitors and dealing with complex small, fast and multi-track cases from beginning to completion. You will act on behalf of private parking providers and a variety of other commercial clientele. Dealing with appeals, drafting contested pleadings and replying to the defence will be part of your day to day duties so it is essential that you have a past experience in this. Another key part of this role will be getting involved with the management and supervision of a large team of Paralegals, this is a great opportunity for somebody keen to start building their management experience.
The Candidate
Ideally, you will be a Solicitor at NQ - 3 years' PQE level, with experience in Commercial, Civil and/or Debt litigation and a solid understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and court procedures. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise large caseloads under pressure, as the Litigation Department is a fast moving, busy team.
