Job Summary

NHS Resolution is a not-for-profit part of the NHS working for health care providers to resolve claims fairly and to share learning across the NHS and beyond.

We are looking to recruit a number of Clinical Case Managers on a fixed term or secondment basis for 12 months within the Claims Management Function. The Claims teams work in an interesting and dynamic climate, all contributing to a continually improving claims service.This is an innovative and high profile function with development opportunities.

Alongside of technical knowledge you will have a proven experience and record of accomplishment in claims management. As a Clinical Case Manager, you will be responsible for contributing towards the main aims of the NHS Resolution by proactively managing clinical negligence claims from commencement to conclusion on behalf of Trusts or GPs and NHS England. Clinical case managers are responsible for their own portfolio of complex and non-complex clinical negligence cases and conduct the investigation, quantification and negotiation of these claims to conclusion. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of legal knowledge as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders along with an excellent analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, organisational skills, ability to multi-task and experience in successfully managing a demanding workload to tight deadlines.
