This is an exciting opportunity with one of the UK's Top 100 firms. We're looking for someone who has the right attitude and approach rather than the exact experience, they are prioritising fit with the team and are happy to train to get the best fit possible. The team itself is dynamic, they work flexibly and the work is nationally derived. They handle some of the highest quality work that is available, much of it on a par with that which is handled in the top London firms and is usually difficult to find in Leeds.
The clients within the team are broad ranging and include insolvency practitioners, large corporate clients, boards of directors, international airlines investment bankers and creditors. The partners have strong reputations but remain really team orientated and down to earth and whilst if they could find someone with the right fit and up to c 5 years PQE in Insolvency work they would certainly be interested in hearing from them, but are equally happy to train.
The work is complex and there is a leaning towards non contentious matters, sometimes running into multiple billion pound restructurings, but it would certainly interest them if someone had some experience of court process. Aside from the usual matters they do a lot of work in niche and regulated sectors which adds another dimension, they also operate internationally.
Irrespective of whether they retrain they will be looking for a strong intellectual base, a down to earth approach and someone who thrives with working within a team that doesn't have egos.
