A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join a strong regional East Midlands based practice, specifically you will be joining the growing team in the Leicester office.
Our client is a full-service firm and offers a range of Private Client and Commercial services. Their dedicated family team provides a friendly, approachable and professional service in all areas of family law, privately and through legal aid. You will be joining a top-quality team which includes members of the Law Society's Family Law Panel and Resolution.
The Role:
- Due to an increase in workload, the family department requires a full time Solicitor to handle a varied caseload of family law matters.
- You will be handling a wide range of matters to include divorce proceedings, family disputes and financial remedy.
- Technical excellence is essential, as well as being active in business development and networking in order to gain new clients and grow your own caseload.

The Candidate:
- The firm is looking to recruit a Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE. However, this requirement is used as a rough guideline and the firm is happy to accept applications from Solicitors with a different level of PQE, as long as a solid background in Family Law is proven.
- The ideal candidate will possess a personable and professional approach and be able to provide a first-class service to an expanding client base.
- For this role you will be expected to have an aptitude for business development.
- Your own transport is essential as travel to other offices and various courts will need to be covered.
