Senior Commercial Counsel

A well-established company specialising in the operation of private education at college and university level is looking for a senior commercial counsel to join them as soon as possible, on a permanent basis.

You will have solid commercial experience, including being able to structure and draft complex commercial contracts. You will have responsibility for negotiating contracts, and for reviewing all agreements to ensure they are commercially and legally sound. You will report to the group general counsel, and you will have at least 2 junior staff reporting to you.

You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years PQE from a top tier law firm. Additional commercial experience from an in-house company is highly desirable.

This job is full-time and permanent, with working hours 9am-6pm. It is fully remote, with the exception of approximately once a quarter you will attend head office, based in central London, with the whole team.

This is a permanent role with the salary set at £100,000 per annum.
