Locum Commercial Contracts & Procurement Lawyer
Local Authority - London
£45-50+ per hour umbrella
Remote Working with occasional office attendance preferred
Panoramic Associates are excited to be working with a local authority in London, who are looking for an experienced Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join them for an initial 3 months contract.
The successful candidate will be able to work on a remote working basis in this position with very occasional office attendance desirable for team meetings and planning meetings! The local authority is also happy to consider fully remote working requirements dependent upon experience.
The role will involve providing specialist legal advice to clients on a wide range of matters relating to Commercial Contracts and procurement projects. You will be responsible for advising on contracts matters including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
Essential criteria:
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, alternatively, non-qualified Lawyers with substantial relevant experience will also be considered. Ability to advise and have conduct of legal files on behalf of all the clients, including local authorities, housing associations and schools and to provide advice, representation and undertake research as requested in relation to Contracts, Procurement & Information matters; Attend meetings and court which may take place outside of normal office hours and off site as required. To give guidance, mentor and give training to less experienced team members; and to deputise for senior lawyers as and when required.
