Risk Management, Associate / Solicitor

TSR Legal have recently been instructed on a new opportunity for a Risk Management, Associate to work with the firms existing RM Team. The Team has responsibilities for all claims, complaints and RM across the firm.

Key Duties

• Dealing with claims in house.
• Liaising with insurer appointed panel firms where appropriate.
• Reporting internally and to the firm’s insurer on strategy. 
• Assisting the Firms’ complaints partner, supporting partners during the complaints process, and liaising with the Legal Ombudsman where necessary. 
• Putting in place risk management measures for the firm, liaising with the firm’s compliance team.
• Assist with in-house risk management training.
• Identify claims trends affecting the legal profession.
• Advising and implement change to mitigate future risks.

The person:

• Minimum of four years’ PQE.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage relationships.
• Excellent technical ability, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, ambitious, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills.
