TSR Legal are seeking a 2-5 years PQE in-house legal counsel with experience in commercial law to join a leading company in central Cardiff reporting into the commercial director. They are a small hybrid working team with all team members regularly working from home and in their Cardiff office.

Duties:

As legal Counsel you will be responsible for drafting, negotiation and managing legal contracts (including keeping precedent documentation up to date) and drafting bespoke agreements, managing contract variations, queries, disputes and ensuring that the company’s internal compliance requirements are fulfilled, including with regards to data protection compliance.

Key Duties:

• The preparation and drafting of commercial contracts and construction contracts. Effective management of contract enquires, disputes, variations, risks and undertaking drafting and negotiations as required. Drafting and negotiation of all Exclusivity Agreements, options, easements/servitudes, leases etc. Delivering proactive, effective and responsive legal advice to the team. Reviewing and updating legal precedents.

Who they are looking for?

You must be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2 plus years' post qualification experience

Excellent negotiation skills and experience advising on and negotiating commercial contracts

Strong business acumen with a commercial and practical approach

The ability to influence and gain trust at the most senior levels of the business

A team player with the capability of working on your own initiative and with fluctuating workloads

Excellent communication skills and professional at all times
