Job Details

Your new role
This firm are market leaders in a wide range of industry sectors and have a fantastic opportunity for an IP & Technology Disputes Associate to join their burgeoning Bristol team. They are looking for a high-quality lawyer, ideally with disputes experience at a top quality IP & Technology/Commercial practice. You will be well versed in technology and IP work, with a particular emphasis on IT disputes, soft IP, licensing disputes and contractual disputes. Experience of non-contentious technology and IP work would be welcomed, although the role will be primarily disputes/advisory based.

This IP & Technology Disputes team are dynamic, progressive and highly regarded; the team deals with all aspects of IP and technology work. Their clients operate across a wide range of sectors, and include retailers, major brand owners, technology providers, publishers of traditional and digital media, manufacturers, designers, online businesses, advertising agencies and leading insurers. They are continuing to build on their success by growing the team's presence in Bristol and this role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of this sustained development and the overall growth of the Group; this is a great time to be joining them. There will be occasional travel to the London office, clients' offices, London barristers' chambers and, where required, Court.

Ideally our client are looking for an Associate around the 2-5 PQE level, however they are also happy to hear from more junior candidates at the 1+PQE mark, and more senior candidates. Whilst their preference is for a candidate with tech/IP disputes experience, they are also open to candidates with a genuine passion for technology work with strong commercial litigation experience.
