JOB TITLE: Personal Injury Lawyer - RTA
EXPERIENCE: 12 months’

SALARY: up to c£28,000 (£DOE)

THE ROLE:
This well-regarded firm has an exceptional opportunity available for a Personal Injury Lawyer to run a full case load of fast-track RTA matters, including those that have had liability admitted and those where liability has been denied. The successful candidate will be required to proactively litigate cases under supervision where liability is in dispute or when the pre-issue settlement is not possible. In this role as a Personal Injury Lawyer, your key duties will include investigating liability, assessing quantum, drafting witness statements, schedules of loss, legal research and the drafting of pleadings and statements of cases. This role is an excellent opportunity and will provide the successful Paralegal/Fee Earner with the chance to gain valuable experience in this area of law.

THE CANDIDATE:
This role is best suited to Paralegal/Fee Earners with a minimum of 12 months’ previous experience in PI work, excellent rapport building skills and outstanding interpersonal skills. You will need previous experience in Pre-Action Protocols, CPR and funding. The Successful candidate will have a self-starting approach to tasks and projects with the ability to work on your own initiative. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work under minimal supervision. Good organisational and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
