Professional Support Lawyer - Clinical Negligence

This Top 100 firm is seeking to expand its celebrated Clinical Negligence team through the addition of a Professional Support Lawyer on a part time basis.

The Role

The Top City practice is looking for a Clinical Negligence Professional Support Lawyer 6+ PQE to join their City of London office.

You'll find a friendly and diverse team of lawyers all on the same page - looking to deliver excellent service while enjoying what they do. This is an opportunity to get involved in working with this firm's enviable client base.

The role will entail providing a professional service to fee earners within the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Practice area. You will be responsible for keeping fee-earners up-to-date on legal developments and maintain the department's knowledge database and precedents folder.

Other responsibilities will include supporting the team's marketing and business development, by producing content for the website, writing articles and assisting with Legal 500 and Chambers applications.

Duties will include:

- Updating and maintaining a full suite of CNPI litigation know-how including the precedent system, checklists, letter, workflows and updates

- Monitoring practice and legal developments and passing on key information to fee-earners
- Contributing to the CNPI practice's homepage and taking primary responsibility for the legal content of the team's pages

- Producing content for the website and the team's LinkedIn and twitter pages including blogs, tweets, case reports, and assisting with research articles for journals and company website

-Assisting with submissions for legal directories

-Assisting with training new joiners to the team in the use of the Taskflow system

-Act as a key liaison between support staff, the IT Partner and the CNPI team

This is an excellent part-time role offering a broad variety of work covering, research, knowledge management, marketing and training junior staff.

This position is offered on a basis of two days a week, with flexibility for hybrid working.

Requirements:

• England & Wales qualified solicitor 6+ years PQE
• Previous experience in Clinical Negligence/Personal Injury is essential
• Ideally have experience as a PSL
