 This specialist Contentious Probate and Private Client Disputes team enjoys an exceptional reputation.  It continually attracts a diverse and interesting mix of quality cases both within the region and beyond.  

Recent instructions have included:

•    £multi-million old money/landed estate disputes; 
•    disputed will relating to complex family business/shareholding; 
•    new money in extended/complex family fall-out; 
•    undue influence alleged by children of HNW widower;  
•    breach of fiduciary duties & malpractice of trustees; 
•    inheritance and dependency claims involving child with severe disabilities and special needs. 

Due to growth and strategic development of this successful team, a number of opportunities have arisen.  

Applications are welcome at all levels including NQ, associates and 5 yrs+ PQE.  

Relevant experience will include some (not necessarily all) coverage in the following areas:  

•    Disputed wills (validity, duress, fraud and forgery issues)
•    Estate Administrations (negligence, delays and complaints) 
•    Inheritance Act and Dependency claims, 
•    Removal and replacement of PRs and Trustees
•    Beneficiary Disputes 
•    Validity of Trust and Breach of Duty issues 
•    Court of Protection 
•    Promissory Estoppel 

As well as managing a diverse and rewarding caseload, you will support team leaders on practice and client development.  Newly qualified and recently qualifieds will receive excellent mentoring developing your technical, client & case management skills.  More experienced lawyers will have the opportunity to assist in management and supervision.
